2. About 2020 Presidential Debate Possible Future Rules & Possibilities

With the Political Debates the Moderators Share the Rules…

…I’m not sure if candidates are made aware of those earlier OR not.

The rules and more with debates and writing are done to assist people to have the ability to share as well as to get the time others do to share in these situations and with these events. Debates are generally prepared to bring out various opinions on confrontational OR even conflicting opinions & ideas pertinent with matters. This allows the various issues to be brought forth that may be hiding in the background of other aspects with issues & events.

For instance the, official, results of the first debate between Trump & Biden were based on the debate styles as well as how the candidates acted in front of the audience.

There are contentions about who won the debate, but I’m also wondering if Trump was suffering fever and possibly other ‘cold OR virus’ symptoms. When I am high in temperature, having a sore throat, having aching lungs, and not feeling good there is less patience that I display because of  my body suffering stress & other abnormal physical issues.

College Debate Differences to the Political Debates

While in college the debate plans were put forward months before the debates began.

  • The issues were topics of interest with life in society.
  • The rules were added when the debate assignments were handed out,
  • we had weeks to prepare and
  • to practice these with the team works.

The debate styles were expected to be kept, as part of the grade for the class, for the Presidential & VP debates

  • the people are trying to get info as well as learn more about their candidates.
  • The debate results will be determined with the election results as long as individuals that vote remotely also make sure their votes were taken accurately, AND
  • if the boxes aren’t stuffed with false voting.

Rules for U.S. Political Debates

The rules for the U.S. political debates are really loose, they are mostly time rules AND let the other candidate speak aspects. This also means that the moderators type of questions do NOT have to be specifically answered, but it also means this isn’t a free for all conversation.

The Ten Simple Rules for Debating, by Nullus Maximus Posted on April 21, 2016, and blogged about by me in the previous post which shared some practical guidance for debating as well as logistical issues that impact the results of the debates for the audiences.

So here are some links to research I’ve done on debating and on debate rules:

Presidential Debate Rules

At times these are located after the debates, but so far I’ve not found the rules listed OR shared for the public for the next Presidential debate which is only 7 days away.

Presidential Debate Commission Debate Rules [not located with searching]

Are hard to find…it must make it difficult for the candidates also if those aren’t shared beforehand. Microphone cutoffs are being considered for future presidential debates, and the VP debates are likely to enforce those actions.

Who is and how this should be handled is a different issue and will be influenced by how the ‘rules’ are established. For instance if it’s a timed debate, will there be microphone time stoppers pre-programmed which means the moderator can’t shift things? Will there be a pre-time ending button the debaters can click to allow the moderator & other debater speaking time?

But it’s definitly under consideration, because the rules of the debate were broken repeatedly.

Other General Debate Info

Like my college debate which was a team process there are debate processes and styles dependent on the types of debating and locations with those. The issues that come into political debates may be considered with these rules, but the rules are what the moderators state…Timing rules.

Conclusion

As you can see there are multiple aspects that are considered with debates, but for the political debates the people, the audience, the third party are who the debates are for and are about. This setup and change of debate styling may mean that moderators will get more control AND that will mean less ‘for the people’ and more ‘about the system’ actions taking place.

1. About 2020 Presidential Debates: Debates Factors

Thank you for reading this info, for your information this page contains over 3,500 words…so it’s not a simple tweet OR message. More info about debates has been prepared and is linked by me here.

Debates Factors

The rules & more with debates & writing are done to assist people to have the ability to share as well as to get the time others do to share in these situations & with these events. I have read info about debates, plus has spent A LITTLE time debating, there were issues with the debates that were partially moderator faults AND partially candidate faults. This could be because all the candidates fell into the ‘it’s allowed, why don’t I’ failure.

Debates are generally prepared to bring out various opinions on important issues & matters. This isn’t a way to discuss things courteously, because it allows the various issues to be brought forth that may be hiding in the background of other aspects with issues & events. In addition it’s done to find out different aspects and opinions about issues. While I was in college there were debates on issues that had YES & NO variables, but the Presidential debates and the VP debate didn’t seem as cut and dried.

Results of the 1st Trump & Biden Debate of 2020

The results of the first debate between Trump & Biden were based on the debate styles as well as how the candidates acted in front of the audience. This is where I wish there was a debate style that was easier to follow, I got super upset and turned the channel to a non-debate share.

There are contentions about who won the debate, but I’m also wondering if Trump was suffering fever and possibly other ‘cold/ virus’ symptoms. When I am high in temperature, having a sore throat, having aching lungs, and also with high sugar there is less of a calm attitude and my actions aren’t as easy as normal because of  body suffering stress and issues.

My ONE Debate During College

While in college the debate plans were put forward months before the debates began. The issues were topics of interest with life in society. The rules were added when the debate assignments were handed out, we had weeks to prepare and to practice these with the team works.

The debate styles were expected to be kept, as part of the grade for the class, for the presidential & VP debates the people are trying to get info as well as learn more about their candidates. The debate results will be determined with the election results as long as individuals that vote remotely also make sure their votes were taken accurately, AND if the boxes aren’t stuffed with false voting.

There are different types of rules and patterns with different styles of debates. I only had one debate in college and it was one topic that she chose to support that she debated on with her team. There are various rules that were part of the team debate that weren’t part of the presidential OR vice presidential debates because those were multiple topic debates with single debaters. The classical debate, as shared by H.W. Wilson’s 1957 book, is a team debate this means the rules with Presidential and VP debates aren’t normalized.

Below are some links to debates types & rules variations, but Ten Simple Rules for Debating, by Nullus Maximus Posted on April 21, 2016 has given me a way to show how the Presidential & VP debating was performed badly. Any of the info under the heading below that’s in [square brackets] has been added by me, the links are all to the post with the title shared above.

Practical Debate Guidelines

[Debates are expressions of opinion and facts that are based on evidence as well as emotion. BUT the candidates that are parts of the debate should work to remember that they are sharing for others to learn, to find out, to know about, not for their opinions to be loved, but for their opinions to be shared with facts & perspectives that the 3rd parties can relate to & understand. These actions help others to look beyond their emotions to the aspects of issues & perspectives that can influence their participation towards the OR with the aspects under discussion.]

Ten Simple Rules for Debating, by Nullus Maximus Posted on April 21, 2016 with my comments added [in square brackets] about the 2020 debates actions and her opinions of those debate procedures:

A significant amount of my recent work has been written in response to arguments made by other libertarian thinkers. As such, the time is ripe for a guide to how this is best done. This article will take the reader through the process of an exchange of ideas from start to finish, and explain my ten simple rules for debating. Those who follow these rules are guaranteed to become more successful debaters, as well as less stressed and overworked.

  1. Pick your battles. While a person of little renown may have enough time to engage with whomever one pleases at whatever length one desires, people who have less time to spend engaging in debates must choose which opponents to engage and which to ignore, as well as how long to engage each opponent. It is best to have a consistent rubric for this, which will be discussed further in rules 2 and 9.

[For every moderator question multiple topic areas are brought up, notes can be taken, and answers to those topics can be shifted, BUT the audience is the focus of this sharing and the reason info is shared.]

2. Engage only those worthy of being engaged. Some people are capable of maintaining a rational discourse, while other people cannot seem to communicate without resorting to personal attacks, profanity, threats, and other such uncivil behavior.

[Taking issue with the personal insults is stupid, for the debating unless the attack is a focus of the issues, it’s better to bring the issues to the fore & keep those as focus for the answers. The more time Trump says “and you Mr. Biden OR Biden says, “and you President Trump” are seconds being wasted in contending things that may not be worthy of commenting on.]

Some people have interesting and novel insights, while other people insist upon bringing up points which have been refuted a thousand times.

[Previously refuted issues and more can be prepared for, with info links, like the Presidential website OR Biden’s site with facts that can be mentioned as check the facts info, with the facts summarized if they are pertinent for the topics. Care is needed to not make the debates boring though.]

Some people are experts in the fields of which they speak, while other people do not stick to their lasts. Some people make the effort to properly support an argument, while other people Gish gallop. A person’s behavior in this regard is a strong indicator of whether that person is worthy of one’s attention.

[The debate facts and comments should be based on what is pertinent with the issues and the results of those issues. For instance when it comes to climate control, which Harris & Pence discussed, there is the issue of the California Wildfires partially built because of the lack of forest management. In addition there are issues raised with how Biden plans to raise taxes & cut Trump tax cuts supported by Harris, Senator of CA. A State that’s the most in debt for the whole nation.]

Note that other debaters will judge you by a similar standard, so be the kind of person that someone else would be willing to debate.

[This is Trump’s last time going for President, Biden is also likely to suffer such severe Alzheimer’s that he won’t be debating as a presidential candidate again. But the candidates are ALL planning to work as representatives for the U.S. in the coming 4 years, so who are they going to be for us the people of the nation? So this isn’t an issue of the other future debaters, this is an issue about how the American people will percieve their candidates with the upcoming elections.]

3. Do your research. If you know a topic in great detail, you will be more able to counter any argument your opponent may make.

An uninformed debater is an incompetent debater.

An unprepared debater is a sloppy debater.

Also, make sure that the sources you study are reliable.

[Accurately quoted information, like “210,000 Corona Deaths” with the Corona death reports being faked with flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, & other deaths being added to the Corona death reports as shared by Senator Harris on 10/7/20 are ‘presently determined’ as facts, may be contention issues that aren’t a value to contend with a debate.]

If the opponent is competent, a misinformed debater will be an embarrassed debater.

[Argumentative debaters often have little fact to back up their shares, they can win if they bring up issues that cause arguments that actually don’t discuss issues that they are ignorant of OR have no info about, but smart debaters who have no facts are also likely to prepare to be contentious enough to cause arguments and side track the opponent debaters.]

4. Do not [speak] to convince the opponent; [SPEAK] TO CONVINCE A THIRD PARTY. In many cases, a person worthy of being engaged will be firmly entrenched in a position, and it may even be against the nature of the format for your opponent to come over to your side. Focus instead on convincing the audience, whether they be people watching a live debate or reading a correspondence. This methodology is stated explicitly in some debate formats, but it is sound strategy regardless.

[At times debates can utilize visuals also, but this is dependent on the debate rules and more. With any debate that gets read like Presidential Debate transcripts may be, there’s a need to remember that many will read some of the info, so what info is shared that’s worth reading? If there were visuals for the presidential debates OR other debates there is also a need to make sure the visuals aren’t time wasters NOR are they hard to understand, AND they should also be verifiable for the audiences.

For my one college debate, in 2013, about the put into law ACA, U.S. healthcare law, which I was against, I used the photo image of the new healthcare law mass from Senator McConnell’s office & Steve Hayward, of Obamacare regs, which is now removed from this link & then the 11,000 info with the line by Rhapsodie based on an approximate mass versus the  real size of the U.S. Constitution.

The team used some images, but like good shares we controlled those, AND we also took the time to prepare specified shares so the focus was on what we talked about not the visuals which were only backup supporting what we were talking about.

Also, UNLIKE the presidential debates my debate was done with a team against another team supporting the opposite of the issue.

This meant that we had a lot of time for a single topic, we also had this as part of our class, which meant how we followed the debate rules impacted the grade results with our debating, so there wasn’t the over speak allowed unless we wanted to reduce our grades.]

5. Base your arguments upon logic (logos), not emotion (pathos) or authority (ethos). A debate is properly won by using reason and evidence to demonstrate that one’s position is superior to that of one’s opponent.

Detouring into appeals to emotion can help one connect with the audience or provoke an opponent into a misstep, BUT this does NOT advance one’s case in a rigorous manner [unless it’s driving into the point of the topic being discussed OR the issues working to be shared].

Appealing to the authority of oneself or someone else can dissuade a weak opponent or convince a less intelligent audience, but attempting this against a strong opponent in front of a knowledgeable audience is a recipe for disaster.

[For example with my college debate, with the team against the national healthcare, I could have used information of my own life, BUT as a team member my focus was on an aspect of the topic NOT all the aspects of the topic. With the topic I worked to share the aspect of this issue that were likely more relatable by others. The legal aspects which was part of my debate is a lot smaller than the multiple issues the Presidential Debates are contending.]

6. Relentlessly attack logical fallacies and weak arguments. It is important to [figure] out every shortcoming that you can find in your opponent’s case. Doing so will make you more skilled in identifying logical fallacies & weak arguments, [pointing these out]… means that opponents will be less able to get away with sloppy reasoning in future debates. [This will also support your arguments more.]

Do not worry about being pedantic; your job is to find all weaknesses in your opponent’s case & illuminate them to make your case appear stronger by comparison. [But you need to take care that the contentions aren’t boring the audience. The topic focus & issues that are contended can be multitudinous, that’s why note taking is so important. That’s also why taking the time to find the focuses, practice the issues debating with various types of personal opponents who aren’t on stage contenders, plus also possibly also summarizing additional info that’s not focus, can assist in leading the sharing.

Instead of just saying,  “You are wrong about…” OR wasting time in contentious words, taking the time to make sure to share “the facts about…” then sharing those, can reduce time waste as well as make more points supporting your sharing.]

7. Focus on the task at hand. A debate can easily go off track, especially if the subject matter is wide, deep, or both. Avoid making arguments that neither support your case nor attack your opponent’s case. Only go into the weeds if your opponent takes you there [and staying there is a necessity]; the person who begins the foray into many different minutiae is usually running out of solid logic and evidence.

[The task of the debate is harder to focus on if an individual is so involved in it OR so emotional about it, but it’s also a reason they should be more prepared to support their sharing well for others who aren’t as involved OR impacted with the issues.

If a person is mowing their lawn and trimming their hedge that’s the focus, if they go to the field because there’s a pretty flower OR a dead tree to take care of, the lawn work isn’t getting done and the field work is off topic at this time. The pretty flower OR the dead tree can be ‘works’ planned OR done later…BUT they will take time from the present task. If George takes Mary to the field to discuss the tree, they are both not on the lawn…It may be good if Mary can say to George, “That’s not the focus now, here’s what’s being discussed…”, BUT at times the issue is so important it should be discussed. Like if the dead tree threatened the yard walk.]

8. Destroy arguments, not people. Be respectful of your [audience, so] at least be as respectful of your opponent as he or she is of you[, or be as respectful of them as you would the audience]. Resorting to personal attacks (or escalating them if they are already in use) is a refuge of a person with weak arguments, and it will make people less willing to consider your case on its merits. Remember, your job is to defeat your opponent’s arguments, not his or her character.

[A debater that falls to the attacking actions of their opponent actually fails in their debating. An issue with the candidate debates is that the candidates are suffering personal attacks because of personal stands and personal issues. These Presidential debates should be about the Presidential position BUT attacks on Trump through the last years are continuing with the debates.]

9. Know when to quit.

There comes a point in every debate at which further discussion has diminishing returns or even becomes completely pointless. It is important to learn to identify that point and stop there.

Sometimes this will be clear; an opponent may even announce that a particular round will be his or her closing argument. If this happens, respond with a closing argument of your own and be finished; do not repeatedly pummel the opponent after he or she has left the debate.

This may also be the case in a timed or response-limited debate, in which case one should abide by the rules of the format.

[This should be considered more with the future Presidential debates, because many people are only getting media otherwise, so the facts that are shared about the issues for Americans are super pertinent to share & discuss.]

In other cases, it will be a matter of personal judgment to decide to walk away from a debate.

[A really difficult issue with the Presidential debates is the bias of the moderators, which means they are driving towards points and issues that they hold and want answers to. This is difficult because:

        1. They have their own political opinions [they would have to be dead not to have an opinion].
        2. There are multiple sides to every question & how it’s presented;

These topics have been so complicated the issues can’t be shown as headers for viewers to know what the queries were, this also likely means the candidates aren’t given a clear enough query to debate.

The topics have so much preceding info, that they influence the question and what it is. While some info is useful, the opinions expressed by the moderators take the info out of debate and into discussion.

Point 10 follows below, after the Debate Query Examples.

Debate Query Examples

For BAD examples are non-debate queries NOT debate queries which have sides:

What are your opinions on how the opposition has handled Corona Virus’ issues?

What has your party done against Corona Virus?

What do you say about how the protests are being handled in Chicago?

What are the issues with the facts about Corona Virus as are being reported?]

Instead debate queries which have sides, should have ways that the sides can each be distinguished, these were some of the 2013 debate issues that were discussed in my Business Ethics class at Alfred State College under Professor Damrath:

Does the Obama Health Care System benefit the Americans?

Should Recreational Drugs be Legalized

Should illegal aliens be granted amnesty

Is Employer Monitoring Email Justified

Plus others

The debates with unclear queries, issues that are only parts of the debates that have been avoided by the moderators. The topics should educate and inform the audiences, while the actions of the debaters can also educate and inform the audiences those can also cause audience members to act like I did.

I was so upset with the early part of the first presidential debate she shifted the channel. Because of making notes with the VP debate and because of wanting to learn about Harris, I continued through the debate. At least taking the time to type out notes kept me from getting too upset about the lack of info that was really shared.]

Finally the LAST of the Ten Simple Rules for Debating

by Nullus Maximus Posted on April 21, 2016 with Rhapsodie’s comments added about the 2020 debates actions

10. Handle both defeat and victory appropriately. No one likes a sore loser or a bad winner.

If you lose a debate, reflect on how and why you lost. Then, take the necessary steps to avoid losing in the same manner in a future debate. This may involve more study of the debate topic, [especially if it’s one that will arise again,] reviewing logical fallacies, or even changing one’s position on an issue.

If you win, do not gloat or boast. Accept victory graciously, then check your discourse for arguments that could have been stronger or presented more effectively.]

My Conclusion

Each presidential & VP debate is a chance to show the American people who their candidates are AND how they respond to conflicting opinions & plans. I’m concerned about this election because I fear democrats will stuff the polls with false votes. So, with the VP debate,

I’m glad Pence didn’t answer the hand over question, if President Trump steps down because there are stuffed votes it would mean liars will be in office and we will all be dropped into the shit. If Trump steps down because there are factual votes, then our people have made their choice for Biden. If Biden/Harris contend the votes for Trump/Pence, then I’ll be happy the election processes were done mostly correctly.

I’m glad to learn that Harris is a Senator from California, it gives me more research ability & info about her.

The copied info article has ended before here as shared above. After beginning the info with my words above in [square] quotes until the end of quoting another author now are just my additions. Thank you for reading this info, I’m sorry that the original post was messed up the FREE service is in no way as good as the paid service I previously utilized.

WHOOPS DISEASE 2b. Water Weight Chart Comparisons

For Rhapsodie her suffering with Whoops Disease has been multiplied by doctors who assume a lot without taking the time to get outside of their own comfort zone in investigating issues Rhapsodie has mentioned. So Rhapsodie spent almost 24 hours gathering information and making a chart, so the doctors could have a scannable reference when she mentions water weight.

The adult human body water intake & output use image, at Quora.com page under Dr. Larson’s name was used to form the chart information with Rhapsodie’s information & variables included. The other details explaining that chart, more, are saved in upcoming additional blog pages, because this page will be big enough. I’m sorry about that, it’s just too much work right now to fix and modify a whole blog sharing when there are followers that keep returning to find out more details before they suffer inaccurately by bad doctoring.

This chart has been created about Rhapsodie and by her, because images as are shown demonstrating Rhapsodie’s altered looks in the in the WHOOPS DISEASE- 2. Females pages, they are not being added her again. BUT the chart images compiled with formatting & coloring for easier connection between multiple pages are being shown, followed by the other present blog post links.

A- Intro to Rhapsodie’s WHOOPS DISEASE Water Weight Chart
b- Comparison of Metabolism water intake & Feces water releases, in Rhapsodie’s WHOOPS DISEASE Water Weight Chart with the information of the first parts of the 2 left columns from Quora.com.

c- Comparison of foods water intake & insensible LOSS water output, in Rhapsodie’s WHOOPS DISEASE Water Weight Chart with the information of the first parts of the 2 left columns from Quora.com.

d- Comparison of beverages ingestion as water intake & sweat water losses, in Rhapsodie’s WHOOPS DISEASE Water Weight Chart with the information of the first parts of the 2 left columns from Quora.com.

e- Comparison of insensible gain water intake & urine fluid output, in Rhapsodie’s WHOOPS DISEASE Water Weight Chart with the information of the first parts of the 2 left columns from Quora.com.

f- Comparison of intake & output TOTALS with a comparison summary in Rhapsodie’s WHOOPS DISEASE Water Weight Chart.

For Rhapsodie the difference between her normal 140 and 193 pounds is 53 pounds that’s a gain in 22 days, but we never calculated

  • menstrual cycle releases, so that is more calculation to consider. Plus
  • sneezes,
  • coughs,
  • bouts of diarrhea,
  • frequent sinus draining, and
  • more.

Being that Rhapsodie has not been eating the calories she did before the disease for many years, and other research supports this, Rhapsodie seems to be starving in the United States looking like a woman from Africa who’s suffering a parasite problem also. With the swollen belly, skinny hands & feet, dark hollows around the eyes, cracking fingernails, dry skin, cracking lips, and more.

#28- More ACCURATE ASSESSMENTS with Good Reporting, Filing, & Reviewing

More here continuing from #27- Good COMMUNICATION a NecessityBUT everything with these tests depends on the technologists and the lab technician’s accurately reporting AND the doctors & their medical teams accurately gathering and filing reports AND reviewing them accurately also.

Better Medical Technical Assessments

There are multiple areas for getting technical assessments medically.

  • Blood Tests,
  • Picture Assessments,
  • BMI (Body Mass Index) assessments, and

these are only a few of the areas where more work is needed to make assessments correctly.  In some cases the assessments are just wrong because they do not have the detail needed to be accurate.

A BMI takes a government assessment of weight corresponding to the body and uses that to suppose if you are healthy or not.  But did you know that BMI is only using your weight and height for making the assessment of your health?  But Farmer John who is out in the garden 8 hours per day with a weight of 200 at a height of 72 inches (6 feet) of height could be way healthier than Everette Pike at a height of 72 inches (6 feet) of height with a weight of 190 could be a lot unhealthier.  The BMI doesn’t differentiate based on accurate assessments, it is only used for generalized measures based on generalized estimates of the public.

Body Composition tests which measure the water mass, bone + organ mass, fat mass, and muscle mass can result in much more accurate health assessments.  If Farmer John has– 28% muscle & 48% water & 18% bone + organ mass then the fat levels for him are at a 6% level, meaning he is very, very healthy.  But the so called healthier Everette Pike according to the BMI estimates could be a person who doesn’t do much more than sit in front of the computer and work.  With the exact same heights these men are inaccurately assessed when BMI is the only factor of health assessment.  Because weight is the only subset in differentiating and making the estimate of health.

WHY ISN’T THERE A MORE ACCURATE PAIN ASSESSMENT?

Yes the doctors do try to determine how much a person exercises, but do they ever ask about the chores you are doing outside of walking?

Everette Pike in the body composition test results in 12% muscle & 32% water & 20% bone + organ mass then the fat levels for him are at a 36% level, meaning he is very unhealthy.  Because of his youth and the loose clothes he wears the BMI assessments show him at a healthier level than farmer John.  But he is less hydrated, has a way higher fat on body amount, and is not burning the food with the muscle either.  His results from the body composition test could help doctors advise him to exercise more and could assist him in resisting heart diseases and organ problems also.

And these were only examples, what if a woman had a body composition test done that showed 12% muscle & 68% water & 16% bone + organ mass then the fat levels for her would be at a 4% level, meaning she is oddly out of proportion for being alive.  And it could cause doctors to make more accurate assessments of problems she is sharing with them.

Reducing the Doctor’s Fear of LEGAL Hassles

Oh yes I have complaints about the technical assessments done, because there are no variances in the assessments from the hospitals who I’m planning on suing for malpractice, liability, and long term disability resulting from lack of good care.

  • THEY have misdiagnosis part of my permanent file,
  • they have made technical ASSessments THAT WERE WRONG,
  • they have made me suffer lies about drug abuse,
  • they have let my family think that the doctors who believed the falsified reports are accurate in their diagnosis and
  • that I am a hypochondriac because the ONLY estimates they look at are the ones that SIMPLE TO SEE.

Which may mean I’ll need to wait until I’m dead, and my family sues, or I’m treated because they have misfiled and inaccurately billed my insurance and me among other things. But I can sue them for liability, because of lack of proper actions and miscommunication, this will vary because of the law changes, but it’s useful because I can act without dying or getting the accurate diagnoses which I can’t pay for now.

BUT YOU CAN SAVE YOURSELF, AND YOUR DOCTORS CAN WORK TO MAKE MORE ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS WITH THEIR WORK & YOUR’S ALSO!

Our Responsibilities

So all of the work of our healthcare has been handed to strangers, doctors, technicians, nurses, pharmacists, and the government BUT we all have responsibilities for our selves, BUT do we take care of our responsibilities for our selves and our families?

What Treatments Have Worked With Me, Rhapsodie, Through the Disease

Throughout this blog there are actions that I have found effective in treating symptoms of Whoops Disease, and that have been effective with members of my family also. This list is made from some of the blog posts information previously shared with added details, AND here there is additional info from recent findings:

Males with Rashes

There was a rash years ago that my husband got, and he tried the doctors medications and suffered from trying those ineffective solutions. Recently he got a rash on his back and I placed some Bag Balm on his back, the next day the rash was almost gone and so was the itching.

Itchies for Noses

On and off for years I’ve had an itchy nose end, use of the Bag Balm has been great, and it reduces the itchy for a long time if I use it after my nightly face wash. BUT a care that I also do is to make sure to put it on and only rub it after, it takes about 1/2 hour for the itchy to go away mostly, but up to 2 hours for complete itch removal. AND this works for 24 hours at the least after letting it set undisturbed. If I rub it on and let it set for 1/2 hour then ‘blow my nose’ the itch removal still works.

Scalp Itchies

After taking a shower OR a bath and washing my hair my head gets super dry and itchy. So it means scratching at my scalp, but I’ve found that a pet comb works to scratch my scalp. BUT the best treatment is to scratch at the middle back top about 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches in that area. BUT like with the itchy nose treatment there’s time after doing that before the itching dissipates, and if I keep scratching it doesn’t go away as fast.

Congestion in the lungs

The congestion in the lungs from colds, bronchitis, and other congestion issues like the runny sinuses still happens even though the chamomile tea works great. What I’ve found is that Licorice Root in candies, teas, and even with the powder and extract work great. I do not use the dosage of the containers, about 10 drops of the Swanson’s Licorice Root Liquid Extract works super well and it’s both Alcohol and Sugar-Free.

The sinuses and drippy congestion for females may be worse than it is for males. My mom and I have this issue, I use the natural treatments that work and she keeps going to the doctor for treatments that are ineffective. The allergy medicines, the asthma medications, the cough drops, the cold medicines do not help her breathe better for more than a few hours at a time. BUT my treatments work for longer times. Here’s more from the WHOOPS DISEASE- 2. Females post about used treatments in addition to the effectiveness for me:

  • The only cold treatments that have worked are

    • GINGER for the INFLAMMATION- This is also good against car sickness, use each night means that I don’t have numbness in my arms OR legs, which is from undiagnosed & untreated fractures. In addition my nose, feet, legs, throat, and ears don’t suffer the swelling that lack of use could have caused.
      • Cider vinegar & honey help it taste good, and the Cider vinegar and honey is GREAT for the ACID REFLUX.
    • CHAMOMILE TEA– DAILY for the SINUS CONGESTION
      • This does lead to Asthma diagnosis’ by doctors that don’t do full scale proper tests with proper equipment. Within the first 2 to 3 years.
      • BECAUSE IT IS NOT ASTHMA! THE DRUGS DO NOT WORK for more than making more lung space for the microscopic organisms that have invaded your lungs.
    • LICORICE ROOT– FOR lung DE-CONGESTION
      • The dose for uses is a lot less than packages recommend, but that’s healthier for users because there isn’t the problems with Potassium diminishment in the body. I only use 10 drops of the Swanson’s Liquid Licorice Root extract, when my lungs are feeling bad and when the coughing and sneezing is heavier, even though the packaging says 48 to 56 as a dose.

Acid Re-flux

The acid re-flux issues are problems many people face that’s why there are over the counter treatments for individuals, but those are not healthy to continue. The reduction of potassium in the body the other side effects issues as well as the package warnings, ‘Use for up to 2 years,” which means if the issues stay people keep using the drugs when they shouldn’t. The side effects are likely to cause other health issues also, so the natural treatment Rhapsodie has used continues to be beneficial AND it has improved many health areas for her with the pre-teeth brushing before bed time consistent uses.

  • During sleep the ‘acid re-flux’ happens because your lungs are breathing in moisture from the stomach area, thus causing acid re-flux, so the treatment with a daily dose before bed of:
    • 2 tsp. Unpasteurized CIDER VINEGAR &
    • 2.5 tsp. of real HONEY,
    • 1cup hot water, and
    • aloe juice to cool the drink AND soothe the throat

Teeth brushing after treatments, within an hour generally assist in reducing the acid impacts on teeth. In addition since Rhapsodie uses this with her chamomile tea she has double treatments added into one action.

This treatment is so much better than over the counter OR prescribed acid re-flux drugs because it doesn’t raise the potassium levels in the body AND it works without any prescribed OR drug side effects. For diabetics the amount of sugar for 1 tablespoon of honey has between 17 and 9 carbs depending on the honey brand and type of honey, Raw being a favorite for me. I use raw honey which doesn’t have nutrients boiled out of it with too much heat being used. This has 11 carbs with 40 calories AND because honey isn’t a simple sugar I only need to use 1/2 the carbs with my insulin because like whole wheat AND non-starchy vegetables my body works through it meaning less insulin is needed for my body. In addition there are many nutritional benefits for the body from local area honey AND unpasteurized vinegar of any type.

Wet AND Boils in ears

This has been one of the most annoying things I’ve dealt within the last couple of years. There is so much puss in my ears most days after I wake up that I ended up buying an ear scraping kit. In addition I’ve found that the boils are premenstrual, about 2 weeks before my menstrual cycle it starts forming again. And the day my period starts the boil releases puss and gunk into my ear. What has helped has been using the Povidone Iodine solution sold in the local pharmacy on 2 Q-tips soaked with the stuff at least every other night. AND I make sure to use a separate one for each ear to reduce spreading the problems of one ear into the other ear.

  • Most of my headaches recently have resulted from noise, and I know my ears get clogged. So
    • Using the mix of rubbing alcohol and aloe juice heats and allows the waxy build up to run out and this can be done once a month or so.
      1. I mix up the aloe and alcohol in small container,
      2. Then put a towel on my pillow for each ear,
      3. Then using an eye-dropper fill the ear that’s up, and let it stay in the ear for 3 to 5 minutes, THEN
      4. I tip my head down and do the same with the other ear,
    • This may be repeated if I still feel the need for the release.

Yellowing & Softening Teeth

Yellowing of the teeth happens, the dryer you are. There are issues with teeth softening, it’s looks like rot, but it’s not this happens towards the end of the disease AND up to 5 days after medical treatment it goes away. AND treatment by me includes:

Water blisters that feel like pencil stub bubbles on the end of my fingers

It’s kind of odd because they came about 3 months apart, the one on my thumb I’ve lasted for almost exactly 3 weeks. So there wasn’t popping I use a sugar picker, super sharp needle, and poke a hole and bleed out the excess water in that blister.

Under arm Rashes & Itchiness

The under arm itchies have continued to the present day as have the nose itchies and I treat them the same with Bag Balm, that you can buy in a ‘farm care’ OR pet place.

Rock Hardening Feet for Males over 50

Males over 50 start having their feet harden, and they get feeling like stones. The feet issues may not be able to be reduced with constant feet sqwinching with toes and heals curling in and stretching, these issues definitely get worse with thick and tough shoes being worn. The heated foot & calf massagers may work for this, hand massages also work really well, but it may not stop the rock hardening of the feet completely. The care with this means after treatment taking the time to flex your feet back into normal, with rushing things the stiffened bones and joints in the feet may break if they are not massaged back into use safely. And this can mean wearing reinforcing stockings to reduce the urge to stretch and flex feet that are working more normally again.

Itchy Skin

DO NOT USE FINGERNAILS to itch, this damages the skin and it causes itching to get worse. Instead find a roughly textured cloth or use your fingers/hands to rub away the itch.  This also works with bug bites, because it releases the area inflammation that generally adds to itchiness, but it doesn’t raise up more blood that will increase the inflammation in the healing processes.

Ripping & Cracking fingernails,

The ripped nail edges are being treated with a nail file, because one is carried with me all of the time, my left hand nails are rip cracking the opposite of my right hand on the exact same fingers.

Hangnails & Skin Rips OR Cuts

I’ve not had a lot of these because of drinking so much fluid, BUT use of the Gorilla brand Super Glue to just bought at Walmart, it seals those areas is best and I keep a container in my medicine cabinet, this is used by me because it works longer than the other super glues and it has a resealable lid that works. Larger amounts are available also. In addition if it’s wetted it hardens in place, and generally that washes off in 6 to 12 hours, but the healed area may need re-treatment OR it may not. I also use this on other areas of my skin that rip open a lot easier because of skin losses.

Dry Skin

This has impacted many aspects of my body, that I feel more than others really see. Some areas, like the vagina aren’t had by males, but they may find many of these treatments useful beyond the drink a lot continually action.

  • Dry Skin
    • Making sure to keep drinking; drinking; drinking and the facial & creams that have added glycerine AND aloe juice which also gets added to my cider vinegar, chamomile tea, and honey mix.
    • For my hands using the O’Keeffe’s Working Hands lotion has helped tremendously for that.
    • For my feet using the lotion found in ‘pharmacy’ for feet has helped as has the Gold Bond for Diabetics
  • SCALP Reduce this with super nutritional moisturizing shampoo & conditioner AND making sure to keep drinking; drinking; drinking. I actually use a cheap conditioner, and add honey water with a little vinegar added into the conditioner. About a half and half mix. Then the scalp itch care as mentioned in these pages.
  • Dry vagina means using a homemade douche, container, which I’ve modified from the original by adding a hole at the tip of the inserter.
    • My mix, which works requires dual uses one right after the other to reduce leave behinds.
      • Adding a 1/ 2 with a water & Aloe Vera juice mixed at a ratio of 2/3 water to 1/3 Aloe juice. Doing the math for the individual amounts with the full mixture as a base means:
        • Water- 0.5 (as 1/ 2) ÷ (0.666) or 2/3rds= 0.333
        • Aloe Vera juice- 0.5 (as 1/ 2) ÷ (0.333) or 1/3rd= 0.1.667
        • With the cleansing agent of 1/2 of cider vinegar.

Moodiness

The mood issues with this disease range from feeling misunderstood and uncared for to just being short tempered. This can result in yelling, screaming, and wanting to smash things.

It can be useful to have a punching pillow, bag, towel OR something that makes you feel like the anger, frustration, and more especially from individuals that are ‘believing’ the lies of doctors who are around you all the time believe. If you need maybe even plastic pop bottles, gallon jugs, or other items with some water for weight and a smashing zone so you can feel the whomp of smashing as well as see and maybe feel the smashing results can be good. Take care if this is inside there will be clean up work to be done. In addition it’s super useful when you feel the moods coming on to tell others something about it, so they aren’t hit with your mood when they don’t understand OR feel it themselves and you end up exploding with frustration.

OKAY I’m done doing repeats now, there are additional sets of information in the other Whoops Disease blog posts which are linked below.

Pet Care

The issues with animals are described more in the previous WHOOPS DISEASE- 1. Animals blog post. Here is a bit of that info: A clear sign for animals is the single long cut on both of the front canines, that begins AFTER SNEEZES, THE TEETH which WILL HEAL FINE if the long cuts are cleaned 3 to 6 times before they start healing, with the pet toothpaste & infant brush, AND allowed to fully heal with no touching, if the skin is broken by finger nail or toothbrush after they start healing, then the poor animal has a yucky canine. If the tooth is not brushed the teeth can starve the critter or they can heal with yuck in them.

Doctor’s Misdiagnosis’ Can Cause More Problems

These tropical waterborne microscopic organisms [parasites], are all building the signs of Whoops disease so you may also be suffering. The older ‘medical PDF’ record I found disappeared from the internet, and since then the disease name has changed frequently so all I can tell you now is to be prepared that your doctors will try to treat you for asthma, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, and anything else they can prescribe a drug for to get you out of their hair AND they will not be treating the problem that’s killing you. Which means you may be demanding multiple tests for waterborne micro-organisms.

If I’d lied and said I’d been in South America, they may have tested for the correct disease. With Whoops disease for testing, a waterborne parasite a urine test is used, and the test needs to be done within 24 hours after the sample is collected. IF the place you go for tests ships in amounts to a hospital lab, it’s likely a bad place to use for this type of test. That’s because from the time of your peeing in the cup until the lab does the test needs to be less than 24 hours. This means that there’s a finite time between sharing the sample and getting the accurate test. If this procedure is not followed, with the lab slip stating 24 hours the results are likely to be TOTALLY inaccurate unless the people handling the test are familiar with it and it’s priority in time, which they aren’t likely to be.

There have not treatments in my life other than the misdiagnosed treatments that actually are done for symptoms that will disintegrate with the real treatment. I mean diabetics may have dry skin that could be a sign of high sugar, so treatment for years for dry skin could kill the people who aren’t tested for the diabetes which is the problem. AND that’s also the case with Whoops disease.  If I get treatment and care I’ll try to have that information shared with you as soon as possible.

Rhapsodie has written about these issues for multiple reasons:

  • To have a shared written record, that’s useful in case Whoops Disease kills her OR she ends up in a hospital OR somewhere else.
  • To provide information to others to assist them in dealing with the horrid medical system the U.S. has at present.
  • To hopefully impact a doctor OR health carer eventually that will take the time to look beyond the false records in their reports who can take the time to do better work themselves for Rhapsodie and for others.

PAIN Variables

#17- Rhapsodie’s Visual PAIN Diary- April 2017

More here continuing from #16- Visual PAIN Diary- Winter into Spring 2017- Worse & Better At the present time, my LEFT Forearm, LEFT Calf, RIGHT Calf, RIGHT Forearm, LEFT Rotator Cuff, RIGHT Shoulder, 2nd to smallest toe on my Left foot, are my only real PAIN ISSUES that shift and vary with bone strain in movements.

Presently

I generally get upmost days without any pain, but my movements during the day can and sometimes do cause PAIN.  A wrong step or a wrong lift can give me lightning pain followed by swelling and an ache that diminishes without more stress if I do not repeat that motion within the next week.

Sleeping is made way more difficult, because my left calf feels like it splits when I rest on my right side for 15 minutes or any more.  The exercises for my lower left ankle/calf assigned with physical therapy have increased and advanced the fever of my right calf. It only aches like a bruise presently.

Walking with my left calf wrapped causes pain like shoving micro spears into my bones near the last place a spike of pain happened if I’m on uneven ground and barefoot.  Walking with shoes and bracing causes me to ache whenever I take a step wrong at the store, like from pushing a shopping cart.  My right calf ONLY hurts when rubbed by hand to remove the swelling that centers over the fracture, that is as yet untreated, and when the fever in the calf gets bad my body temperature rises also.

ANTIBIOTICS CONTINUE TO REMAIN THE ONLY PAIN TREATMENT that removes pain.  But doctors’ have continued to ignore this sign of infections in the body. Prescribed treatments only fiddlefarden by brain to disguise from it the reality of pain.

  • Steroid– I was allergic so only 2 doses out of 7 were taken, a week of no pain, but I really injured areas that weren’t felt as being in pain.  Over 3 months of working to recover to the point I was previous to taking a single dose.
  • Acetaminophen/Cod 3o mg & Turmeric Cur-cumin– 24 hours of sleep with 36 hours of fuzzed brain, fluffing away the pain in disguising the problems from nerve central.
  • Aspirin/Ibuprofen– 5 to 12 hours of sleep
  • NSAID Cream– Anti-Inflammatory, I’ve only used one dose so far.

The fever in my right calf has been regrowing, today April 15th my temperature was over a degree above normal. The area of swelling on my right calf is not associated with ‘bone injury,’ but surgery was mentioned to me this last week.  My left arm though is the problem we’ve discussed through this set of blog posts, with the Visual PAIN Diary- From September 2013 into April 2017,

this is the last post for that section of this PAIN Care blog. Because I believe the plate for my LEFT arm has been moving around.  And thus the movement of the plate means that the areas of pressure from grip have shifted when pressing in areas also.

My sleep is again being problematic.  Because of so much lack of care, lack of physically moving properly regularly I’m almost incapable of walking presently.  The present medical system is set up to make sure anywhere there is a problem on your body you have to go in for a separate visit.

The Left shoulder injury could probably have been avoided if there had been care for my lower arm, but there hasn’t been, and I’m still having problems with my left lower arm & the recovery exercises for the shoulder exacerbate the problems with swelling of my Left Forearm.

But beyond them is how the patient will continue to suffer into the future and the cost settlements for injuries that are as yet uncared for as well as uncalculated into the lack of care … The lack of care results have led to a weak left arm, added to taking my ability to do the enjoyable tasks I still love as shared in the beginning of the document.

NEEDING LEFT ARM BRACING FOR ALL NORMAL TASKS,

many of which are avoided because of the work stress spiking pains:

  • Holding a bowl of soup, a small notebook, anything at all really with my lower left arm results in spiking and shifting pain with a single move.
    •  It’s really hard to eat a bowl of cereal.
  • Taking out trash, on the kitchen 15 gallon can has not been done, by me in over 2 years, my previous work at McDonalds involved lifting larger trash bags regularly.
  • Sorting through my storage of season clothes exchange took over 2 weeks, pain hindered me as did my arm not being powerful enough to brace a suit on a hanger single handedly with my left hand.
    • I have not washed a sink full of dishes since the week of the Steroid NO PAIN;
  • SWOLLEN NUMB FINGERS, specifically the 2 middle ones of my left hand, started feeling pinched about the summer of 2015 after the Steroid week & this reoccured in September & October of 2016.
  • SWOLLEN HAND, if my Left Arm is not angled up to sleep, I awake with it totally numb.
More ARM Work PROBLEMS,
  • Watering my plants is uncomfortable with my 1 quart watering container. 2 hands work best.
  • Adding water to the humidifier is done with the smallest cooking pot in the house, the 2 to 3.5 cup one. That’s between 16 and 28 ounces, a gallon of milk has to be lifted with 2 hands.
  • Lifting my drink mug with my left hand aches.
  • I do not comb my hair or brush my teeth with my left hand anymore either.
  • Washing Dishes, 1 piece at a time,
  • After doing anything normally easy for over 1 hour,
    • except for using the typing keyboard, it’s okay with resting my arm on the brace pad on my tucked down bear.
  • I haven’t sewn, sketched, crafted, read a book that weighs more than a Harlequin in over 6 months because my left arm can’t support the weight or the use angle stresses presently.

Just earlier this week a metal L door handle touched the upper edge of the YELLOW ORANGE bruise pain on the picture, the pressure felt like having a hand slap onto a bloody purple bruise beneath the skin. That area has never caused me any pain in the past; I would rate that at somewhere near ONE but less than that.  It’s the persistent re-ache that is most annoying.

Because months have passed since my last entry I’m adding details from the present situation and the pain shifting.  A situation which the doctors have listed as chronic pain, they’re stupid about that, but then they only read what others share with them before making a diagnosis. The February 2018 post demonstrates how the so called ‘chronic pain’ isn’t, it’s in fact circumstantial driven by life AND lack of proper treatment.

PAIN Variables

#16- Visual PAIN Diary- Winter into Spring 2017- Worse & Better

The pain splitting AND swelling that resulted from the shoulder bracing demonstrated to me that also the injuries of my left calf were splintering as I feel towards my knee and towards my ankle.  With use my left arm is splintering towards my wrist.  This is not normal but maybe people with dense bones are more likely to have this happen because of the greater bone resistance to splitting breaks which separate bone parts completely.

Winter & Spring 2017 Swelling & Splitting Pain Tied Together

At present my Lower LEFT Arm suffers swelling and more, pictures from February to April of 2017 are demonstrative visuals. As you can see with the pictures, the swelling green section is over the lower forearm bone, it has not reached the wrist bones, but it is very close.

Osteoclasts were not allowed to work the separated bone into the freshened injury after the Father’s Day Fall of 2014.  After pushing a part of the bone down behind the plate as it was in my arm then did not realign on the injury properly, thus it did not heal onto the base bone properly.

This is only part of Rhapsodie’s issues, but having bones improperly cared for can weaken the overall body of any person.

  • How do multiple repeated spreading fractures weaken a person?
  • How does the lack of correct bone care hurt and add problems beyond pain?

There are definite answers to these questions, but in consideration of my left arm, more and more physical weakness hinders my physical activity and the muscle mass decrease has allowed my injured bone areas to sprawl with greater touchable ease and the lack of use has caused more body problems as well as fear that Osteoarthritis & Rheumatoid Arthritis will be suffered more than it ever should have because of NO DOCTORAL CARE & self patient education.

A person should work to retain body balances, if they do not work towards this through their life they could suffer more and more as we see repeatedly.  Originally the PAIN problems I had were just rated by me as accidents in which I would heal from with time.  But the years of growing issues, evidenced on these pages demonstrates how initial pain problems diagnosed incorrectly can expand and become worse problems for both patients and their serving medical people.  Especially when medical people don’t take the time to investigate more than ‘tell us how you would rate the pain?’  Followed by let’s prescribe a ‘drug.’

To me that’s not work to investigate or learn anything, if you reported to the local police that you saw a car off the road in an odd area with skid tracks through the snow an investigative vehicle would be sent to the location. The problem would be taken care of before the police left the area abandoned with no care for the people.

If the work to pursue diagnostics was done with a little more accurate understanding of the real pain being felt with the medical requests then there could be better care with hopefully less cost as well as time wasted for both the patient searching for care and the doctors who are working to provide care.

  • Why is it if a patient talks about pain, there is no care given?

NO wonder there are so many people suffering ‘prescription drug problems.’  For me, pain is a sign of problems, taking drugs to minimize pain weaken my body and add to problems I could get.

Presently

I generally get upmost days without any pain, but my movements during the day can and sometimes do cause Pain.  A wrong step or a wrong lift can give me lightning pain followed by swelling and an ache that diminishes without more stress.  Sleeping is made way more difficult, because my left calf feels like it splits when I rest on my right side for 15 minutes or any more

#11- Visual PAIN Diary- 2013 Stressed Injury

Continuing from post- #10- A PAIN & Injury Diary MAY Change Inaccurate Doctoral ASSESSMENTS- Maybe the pain & injury diary can grow value in pain assessments as well as more accurate treatments. Like

  • what if the doctors had a visual flip-book relating the pain as well as the injury progressing as I have suffered?
  • what if the medical community had made assessments accurately for me instead of basing things on their own personal ratings of my pain estimates?…

September 2013

2013 Forearm Brace against fall pressure collapse ache that varied from the fall and diminished in generally over months.

  • I had passed out for over 30 minutes.
  • The work done in the previous years of college with jobs as well as taking on the care of grades didn’t happen.
  • I was exhausted all of the time.
    • For the time after that fall, I remained in college until graduation taking a full course load, but not doing the extra work previously practiced during my college time.
    • The injurious fall that caused the faint was from my right calf, a multiple fracture was displayed on the one X-ray of June 10th, 2014.
    • The X-ray was left unexamined by all my doctors.
  • My one viewing of the 6-10-2014 right calf X-ray showed a dancer’s fracture of the inner back Tibia, but as the hospital ‘lost’ the picture I have not received any treatment.
  • Antibiotics were being used by me early in June 2014, the pain went away for a time.  An itchy calf had me rubbing it, and I pushed in part of the unhealed calf fracture.

And this is only part of my calf story, further mishaps are causing more problems, but there are only mentions with this section, because we are sharing a Visual PAIN Timeline for the LEFT FOREARM.

But please be aware there are multiple associated accounts because of the weaknesses growing from a lack of a care as well as the need for proper treatments…

#3- R&S- VALUING OUR RECEIVING

#3- R&S- VALUING OUR RECEIVING

was begun with the previous posts, linked to here:

described values Rhapsodie received from others’ sharing.  Her information about receiving is still incomplete because of the alternate factors that were shared in the 1st post, let’s look beyond our present to see value more too.

Thinking you’ve not received when you have, comes down to thinking outside yourself repeatedly.  Or even minimally, are the flowers handed over appreciated as being shared?

b-flowers-in-hand-trademarked

  • Are your feelings a result of a lack of others’ care for you or because of your silliness in life?
    • Do you work to find what values in receiving from the non-material are?
  • Could your feelings of not having received come because you don’t appreciate what is shared with you?
    • How often does a child really appreciate the self-sacrificing sharing of their parent(s)?
  • THE FEELINGS, CAN COME BECAUSE
    • YOU FORGET WHO YOU GAVE TO, AND
    • WHEN THEY WORK TO HELP YOU RECEIVE YOU DON’T know that it’s for your own good.
    • You haven’t shared enough, so you are unaware of the values also shared with you.

This happened with Rhapsodie and Mr. Howie Mandel, Mr. OBAMA, Ms. Shelley, and Mr. Will Shortz to list just a few that worked hard in giving to Rhapsodie but she didn’t remember. NOTHING ILLEGAL, just not commonly shared gifts.

Her insult to these people was partially because of A BAD name memory, Rhapsodie’s so bad that, a great longtime friend of hers, Michelle received a blank stare as Rhapsodie tried to remember her name after 4 or 6 years of their being very close to each other and connected by many experiences and relationships. BUT memory isn’t the only reason people feel that they haven’t received anything.

Other reasons are associated with your perceptions about value.

VALUE PERCEPTIONS

  • Who knew that Mr. Lucas or Mr. Coppola would be famous in 1960?
  • Who was aware that publicized computer’s like Apple would effect the whole world?
  • Who knew that a national system of healthcare would exist in the United States in 1980?

Well maybe some had hopes or fears about these things, maybe some have reasons for their thinking, I know I do, but history will tell the tale I can’t.

I know that VALUE IS BASED ON REASON and EMOTION.

  • Reason based on how a person thinks &
  • emotion based on what is being felt.

Emotion fluctuates just as much as reason does narrowing down the reasons for FEELING LIKE YOU’VE NOT RECEIVED WHEN YOU HAVE, COMES DOWN TO WHO YOU ARE. Is it because what you’ve received isn’t necessarily physical or considered valuable to you when it was received.

Or do you need flowers vased and shared specially wrapped in order to appreciate the value shared?

Gifts shared with work and care may at times be ignored because we don’t appreciate the effort others’ take to share.  In time there may be appreciation, but we should value the sharers who keep on giving so that others keep on receiving.  Please do NOT let the feelings of the present in regards to our receiving halt us from sharing. Time often grows an understanding of values shared & received, and I hope we all can appreciate that there is a lot more to giving than just getting.

#2- R&S- RHAPSODIE’S 2ND PREFERRED CASHIERING COUNT BACK OPTION

#2- R&S- RHAPSODIE’S 2ND  PREFERRED CASHIERING COUNT BACK OPTION

The previous post #1- RECEIVING & SHARING (R&S)- PLEASE SHARE IF IT’S GOOD FOR YOU started with an illustration about cashiering, the information below in italics has been copied from the end of that post for a speedier cashier reference.

Why was this so good for any cashier?

Because with a very busy day, lots of people, and lots of money is being cared for, counting back to a customer shares respect for them and your work, on top of giving you more ability to handle cash responsibly. A person with a $123.43 bill who hands a cashier $150.00 should receive $26.57 in change.  If, you count money, while talking through the altered amounts, back in reverse, smallest amount first, a person handling money is more likely to be accurate and will be caring for their customers.

Please remember, for any cashier, counting the coins back can also be good. Especially with small kids or individuals that don’t know our U.S. money, but remember others can appreciate that also.  PLEASE try to care for your customer’s time, so that when you’re so busy the customers that could be angry with every second they wait are reassured they won’t wait worthlessly, this means speaking at a speed that doesn’t delay the transaction, it is often useful to practice.

So how does Rhapsodie’s customer get their $26.57 back?  Her other conversation with them pauses for a bit, as she works returning change and she says, as suggested to her, and using our example from above, based on what the facts are, [SITUATION REMINDERA person with a $123.43 bill who hands a cashier $150.00 should receive $26.57 in change.]

[COPY ENDS HERE]:

Rhapsodie’s 2nd and preferred cashiering count back option

“Your total was $123.43 out of $150.00,” and with HANDING THE CUSTOMER their change, here were doing a complete change count back, but you could just give them alll the coins and add that to the amounts, but here with two pennies, state “one twenty three 45″ and adding one nickel (or 5 more pennies) and adding aloud, ”   50  “, and then with the final small change addition of  two quarters (or 5 dimes if the quarters balance is too thin), “one twenty four.” OR if you want, with the quarters, (and I’m sure you’re smart enough to run up the totals with dimes OR a quarter, 2 dimes, and a nickle, but here quarters (a reminder because of blabbling, one twenty three 50, plus adding to their hand one quarter with the said number, ”  75   ” and then another quarter and the words ” one twenty four  ” we reach our bill change in the count back but the smaller amount is in the person’s palm for pocketing or walleting with more ease.

AND then just like we did before with a difference in words we continue by handing our person the $1.00 bill, and adding ”   124   ” in words, then adding the $5.00 and saying, ”    one thirty    ” and finally with the last addition of a $20.00 bill in this illustration, completing this exchange with ” one hundred fifty is your changed total,……” OR “one hundred fifty completes your change …,” OR with “your one hundred and fifty dollar count,…..” completes your counting work, and now you can continue working with whatever is being said & done also.

This may seem unnecessary to you presently as it did for Rhapsodie for a very long time,  but eventually after many problems and with lots of stupidity she wishes she had taken and used this advice a lot earlier in her career as a cashier at Walmart as well as taking the advice to “slow down” and “relax.” Her customers would have benefited by having the smaller change in hand, and the bills organized so that the people in line around them didn’t see what they held as easily.  Also for pocketing it’s often nicer to have the smaller amounts on the outside of the fold instead of the larger amounts.

Rhapsodie’s clumsy and silly, so there was more than one time, when gathering change for her hands she pulled out the wrong type of money. Her lazy work hurt her as well as others, like her business and her family, just taking a few seconds to count back would have been a lot more value shared.  If she had just taken the words given to her earlier, she could have kept and received much more of value, SO MANY MORE WOULD HAVE BENEFITED.

And THAT WAS JUST ONE ILLUSTRATED CASHIERING SITUATION about how to, very similar to not only the advice, but also an illustration for action that Rhapsodie received. But how does thinking about receiving effect us all?

Often the value of what is shared is missed for a long time, if we work to continually try and learn from what is shared we may eventually learn from the other posts. . .
