#05- About Government & Regulation vs. LOVE & Freedom

People in power with the proper respect of responsibility are allowing freedom to live, which means other people will act on their own intentions. FREEDOM IS CHAOTIC, so what has happened to the Native American’s could happen again. FREEDOM IS UNORGANIZED, and with the short 70 or 80 years of life we all have presently, organization is key in keeping life understood. FREEDOM IS LOVING and Godly LOVE can be defined for following, from 1 Corinthians 13: 4- 8a, here:

LOVE is long-suffering and kind. LOVE is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up. Does not behave [vilely and evilly], does not [focus on] its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but it rejoices with truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. LOVE never fails!

Using the living aspects of love in contrast with the self-serving aspects of pride we can draw comparisons for ourselves and our actions.

Selfish Pride is impatient and brutal. Selfish Pride is not trusting, it does not apologize, does not get true humility. Does not behave honorably and worthily, does not watch out for others interests, does not stay concerned. It does not forget incidents of mistake or offense. It does not rejoice over true justice, true nobility, and true fairness, but it rejoices with deception and falsehood. It drags all things, suspects all things, doubts all things, weakens all things. Selfish Pride always fails!

The contrasts between selfish pride and LOVE are distinguishing, but as we all know every person created needs to grow to develop both physically and personably as does every nation of people. To condemn a person of the present for the actions of similar, not the same, people in the past doesn’t allow that person the freedom to become who they are going to be.

For the present people of the United States including all Native American peoples fighting to keep the “Constitution of the United States for value in the present world, and this begins with reading that document and fighting to keep those rights as defined with the theme and its variable factors. Beyond that is the need to demonstrate LOVE as chief, George W. Harkins, of the Choctaw tribe did in 1832 with his letter to the American people. His fear for his people, and the other Native American’s was demonstrated as was his concern and care for the world in which he lived. Even if people like Mr. Harkins suffered with the fear grown from Selfish Pride, is an American example, our people should all learn how to LOVE properly in accord with circumstances in life.

When you think of government what are you thinking of? Is it the laws, the regulations, the ordinances or is it the people with titles in positions of power? Government is a combination of all things controlling or governing a people. And the writers of the Articles of Confederation showed this.

What are the Articles of Confederation?

After considerable debate and alteration, the Articles of Confederation were adopted by the Continental Congress on November 15, 1777. This document served as the United States’ first constitution, and was in force from March 1, 1781, until 1789 when the present day Constitution went into effect.

What do these say of value for our consideration, we have a different constitution? A summary from Our Documents.gov shares a summary of problem focus for this government document:

The Dickinson Draft of the Articles of Confederation named the Confederation “the United States of America,” provided for a Congress with representation based on population, and gave to the national government all powers not designated to the states. . . . In this “first constitution of the United States” each state retained “every Power…which is not by this confederation expressly delegated to the United States,” and each state had one vote in Congress. Instead of forming a strong national government, the states entered into “…a firm league of friendship with each other…”

The Articles of Confederation failed to a small degree, the States freedom “allowed space for attack by foreign powers through attributed financial weaknesses, increased with extra-ordinate loan interest rates with funds shared by foreign governments with individual States, and increasingly greater population growth” which effected federal government power among the nations in the world. [Dr. Colomaio, 2013] The control of funds by people or nations affects the value of other people or nations. While the actions of European Americans towards the Native Americans happened because of selfish pride, which is a fault of any who don’t practice Godly LOVE. People in power often fail to remember their responsibility towards others because of the large extent of privileges they have gained. Some of these people act with the best of intentions, but find that with time their great intentions are twisted.

#3- About Government & Regulation vs. LOVE & Freedom

A government in accord with the statements made in the “Declaration of Independence and Patrick Henry’s words was to be a government of representation for the people, by the people not a government of money and power for those with money and power, at least that’s Rhapsodie’s interpretation from reading that document. But there was another factor; it was to be a government where God was used in interpreting the destiny of the country and its people. In fact the following sections of the “Declaration of Independence” support Rhapsodie’s suppositions:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. —That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, . . . Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient [not needs, just passing by, not remaining] causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them [the people] under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

This was the mind of people declaring independence from England. I so wish the people of the U.S. valued their history and the freedom’s they should still have enough to keep our government from changing laws, ordinances, and policies for “light and transient causes.” The alteration of regulation in regards to the proper political feeling is not necessarily good. People interpret the “Declaration of Independence‘s” words differently, and that’s okay as long as they take the time to also question your & their individual interpretations.

So let me ask you this.

Freedom requires work to maintain, work to uphold, and work to stay free while others want to suffer being made slaves for the minimal amount of value slavery gives. Wait, is Rhapsodie saying that there was value in slavery? NO THERE IS ONLY A MINIMIZATION OF RESPONSIBILITY and less control over the privileges freedom with responsibility allows. For every privilege there is responsibility.

Patrick Henry, on March 23, 1775 shared the words now recorded as “Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death states that the reason he believes in the fight for freedom:

We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.

I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves and the House.

His compilation of historical facts based on life in America before the revolutionary war helped incite many more people to battle for as Mr. Henry stated, “There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election.”

#1- About Government & Regulation vs. LOVE & Freedom

There are too many historical interpretations to believe them all. There are too many scientific theories translated as fact to believe them all also. Some scientific theories have been tested enough to determine that they are in fact more fact than theory, for instance chemical constructions of materials like oxygen and helium. But there are other theories like carbon dating, which are not shown to be fact, there are occasions when the supposed carbon dating was actually proven to be false. So, the words of Joseph to Pharaoh in accord with interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams are prosaic for us, “Do not ALL INTERPRETATIONS, belong to God?” (The Bible, Genesis)

History provides examples for life experience examining the past usually proves the value of LOVE knowing interpretations. The “Constitution of the United States was redefined in accord with experience, the “Declaration of Independence was written because of experience and need of the people, as far as they saw.

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote [get behind, boost, not make] the general welfare, and secure [fortify, preserve, assure, (Webster’s New World Thesaurus, 1990)]] the blessings of liberty [the rights supposedly natural to man- freedom; independence; power of choice, (Webster’s New World Thesaurus, 1990)] to ourselves and our posterity [our children’s future, our descendant’s future, (Webster’s New World Thesaurus, 1990)], do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Did the people of Europe come because there is a Godly curse that was fulfilled and caused an altering of Native American People’s drive? Did Europe come because the land offered freedom from control of the governments in Europe? Did America become the country it is today, 7-25-2015 because the people forgot their history, forgot to value the freedom, and have dismissed the “Constitution of the US” based on the Iroquois and 5 Nations treaty as unreasonable for the people of the modern era?

Most likely so.

The U.S. citizens of the world are in fact not waking up; they are falling back into lazy habits. Man can look, interpret, and determine but are the assumptions made accurate? The site of one man on the right corner of a car accident is different than the person right next to them, or the person on the left corner. Each person’s interpretations are based on their own view. History is evidence of how interpretations alter understanding. God can define the meaning for all in history, but God can also allow men to interpret and define if so determined.

‘Heaven is for Real’ the new movie- #5 of 7

Jesus in heaven ‘a blond?’

Well that is the description shared in ‘Heaven is for Real’the movie released April 16, 2014. According to radio commentators and personal research on the internet Jesus is not only blond in heaven, but Jesus also has blue green eyes.

Those commenting, on that fact, seemed very surprised, but I’m not.

Why?

Because with my reading of Sisters of the Bloodwindby author Ava D. Dohn and the talking done with customers at Walmart in Hornell, NY as a door greeter, from 2008 till 2010, causes me to think that I helped inspire that picture. The conversations shared in previous posts under this theme continued.

My desire to draw people toward loving God caused me to talk to ones who demonstrated not only a willingness to listen, but also desired to gain more knowledge and insight.

In fact during one conversation about, my view of, the reality of the heavens a man or woman commented, please forgive me for not remembering which, “What do you want to do to help people love God more?”

In responding motion for our present was defined, at least that’s what I believe, “Well, I think films/movies get more response than books do in our present technological age, and because of that the story I’ve read inspires me, others should read it to so they’ll have a reason to fall in love with the people in the heavens. But I think films are a way to get people interested in the book. Because books always hold more details so even the best of films only work as advertisement for the books. But most people don’t read books so a film could inspire more reading.”

“Why do you say that?”

“Because there are hundreds or thousands of people leaving this store with DVD’s each week versus the hundred or so with books. Now that’s just my perception [found with being a door greeter, cashier, book reader, and electronics associate], but take a look at the size of our book section in this store! Then compare that to the size of the DVD section in electronics. They are both entertainment, but people go into electronics and spend money on movies that they just don’t spend on books.”

When that comment was made a brand new hardcover at Walmart was about $17.99 in price versus a new release DVD without extras for $21.99. And in the Hornell, NY store at that time there was about 28 linear feet of shelving for all books, while there was between 144 and 160 feet of linear shelf space for DVD’s.

My customer questioned me with words similar to those here, “What type of story do you think will inspire people to search further for the heavens?”

After pausing to think for a moment, I responded, “A real life story, one that would be believed because the teller was young or a religious minister. It should be real, it should be truthful, but it should also be a vision of heaven.”

“A vision of heaven?”

After some slight consideration, my response was, “I think I may have when I was young, but I’m too old for someone to think I’m not crazy . . .”

That train of speech was interrupted by a woman with the comment, “I heard about a boy who had an experience.”

Asking her about what she knew caused her to say, “I’m not sure; I’ll have to ask him.”

The woman’s comment may have inspired more movie plans in the mind of my conversationalist because there was more interaction between us, in following talks, but it was centered more and more on bringing the reality of the heavens to people through film.

The movie ‘Heaven is for Real’ is told as a true story, I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m thinking Jesus is female in that movie. So not only golden blond, with blue-green eyes, but also female is my conjecture about Jesus as shared in that movie presently.

I’ll see it eventually, for me it would be sad to me if the movie doesn’t share the reality of my discussions because of fear of standards defined by man.

‘Heaven is for Real’ was inspired- #4 of 7

‘How can I say that the movie ‘Heaven is for Real’ was inspired by thoughts and comments I shared as a door greeter in the Hornell, NY, Walmart store?’

The question, “Have you seen any of these perfect people?  What do they look like?” from an individual who had heard my reasoning on the age of those in the heavens, leads to answer for the first question here, and caused me to respond emphatically, “NO!”

“So how would you describe them?,” was the following inquest.

My response was tinged with the tenor of hope and intrigue, “Adam and Eve were created, ‘male and female’ our creator made them.  And according to Genesis, they ‘were created in their image.'”

An emphatically nodding head, and an opening mouth caused me to pause.

While my customer spoke, “There are males and females in heaven?”

“That’s just my reasoning on the scriptures I shared with you.”

“So how would you describe people in heaven?”

My answer in accord with the descriptions shared by author Ava D. Dohn, in Sisters of the Bloodwind came out in accord with this comment, “I’m familiar with descriptions of some who have envisioned heaven and the people there but you can read those descriptions for yourself.”

“Is there a description of Jesus?”

“Yes.”

“So describe Jesus for me?”

“You are probably imagining Jesus as dark haired, lean, but strong, with dark eyes, and being male?  Aren’t you?” was my responding inquiry.  In a desire to insight more inquiry, as so not to offend, I also asked, “What do you think? Now remember Jesus came to earth, as Mary’s child, but returned to the original home in the heavens, so doesn’t necessarily look like what pictures all show,” was my hopefully thought provoking response.

The comment returned was a softly questioning, “Blond . . .”.

And the hesitating response and my excitement caused me to burst out, That’s right.”  But after a small pause continued with, “You’re right, at least that’s how the book I’ve read describes the Messiah.”

In response to my excitement the comment came, “You know in Italy Jesus is shown in some churches as blond?”

“I thought I heard that . . .” and we continued on discussing multiple topics.

Last year, 2013 while taking a semester abroad I visited a couple of churches that displayed Jesus as blond.  And at a religious edifice in Naples, seen on a class field trip in January, Mary with baby Jesus were both displayed with golden blond hair.  So a blond Jesus isn’t really that abnormal, it’s just uncommon here in the U.S. with our Puritan and Latin American religious background.

According to  online and radio descriptions about the ‘Heaven is for Real’ movie Jesus is a blond that also has blue-green eyes, and this is something specifically said by me in a conversation somewhere between 2008 to 2010.
